Turning off ONLY top corner amber light

Hello all,

I was wondering if there is any way to code out ONLY that tiny amber LED in the top corner of the headlight?

To clarify, I would like to keep the default setting in which the turn signals are constantly on (changed them to white LEDs) when the headlights are on, but turn off the amber LED in the top corner of the headlight.

I am attempting to do this for my E92 335i, 06/2007.

Thanks in advance.

Just change the following to nicht_aktiv

NFRM> SIDEMARKER_US > nicht_aktiv

That is all

He wants his turn signal on but the led off.

OP,
This should do the trick

SL_V_PO_RL_FKT
nicht_aktiv

PWM_SL_V_BEI_AKTIVEN_AL

Thank you both.

Modded, I look these up before going ahead with the coding, and it seems like they all do the same thing.

Is it necessary to code all of these? Do you know what they each do individually?

I have just began coding (got my v= ) and I'm just trying to be cautious with what I change and how I do so.

Thanks very much.

Did you modify all three files listed below and in which module did you work at? I couldn't find first file in NFRM file but I found it in cas module file. I just don't want modify wrong module. I just want LEDs off at times.

If I remember correctly, I believe what did it for me was going into NFRM and changing SIDEMARKER_US from aktiv to nicht_aktiv.

I'm trying to turn off the top led on my headlights as well. Does the coding above work while selecting the CAS ecu and then using function to load PSW FSW man and then to execute or is this done differently?

That's how I shut off the amber led up top. However, if you're talking about the top LED across the headlights on the LCI models, I am not 100% sure since my car is pre-LCI.

I would imagine it to be the same though...
