Window tint in SF?

Anyone have a window tint recommendation in SF? (south sf, san bruno, etc)?

Recommendations on tint brand and grade for not-overly sunny SF?

best image in san mateo is popular. but that was when i got my tints a few years ago. im sure they're still pretty popular though

Hmm. I'd rather pay a little extra to have it done right the first time.

Got mine done by Canlas mobile tint in san jose, worth the drive, 30% all around, I'm happy.

i've gone to Auto Image in Belmont for my previous mkv gti, and also my 335i. probably more pricey than other places but they did a great job on both cars!

Got my 335i and Lexus done at TLC Glass on Bryant and 10th in SF. Guys have good yelp reviews and did a good job. Reasonably priced too. All they do is auto glass there.

Got mine at best image, it was dirt cheap, only the dot matrix is messed up in the back, but I don't think I've ever seen one perfectly done before, it's as mythical as a unicorn

Well... scheduled my appointment next Friday to get my tint at Best Image. Perhaps I'll chime in on the experience after it's done.

$170 each for me and my friend's car.

Review: As other fellow e90post members have said... it is a HIT or MISS.
My tints were scratched up less then 4 months. Bad job.

your tints being scratched might be because of the dirt on your window seals.

Best Image here as well, they are dirt cheap. They did have bubbles on some of my tints after a few weeks but since they offer warranty, I took it back to them to have it redone

It was on my Lexus IS350, but if my 335i wasn't already tinted then I'd bring it there too.
