Stereo questions

I bought my '06 E90 325i in December 2012. It has the Logic 7 stereo in it, which to me is the best car stereo I've ever heard. (besides the Rockford Fosgate in my friends Mitsubishi Outlander) Now though the front left mid has went quiet (if that makes any sense). It still makes sound but it is very quiet. My question is could it be a bad speaker or bad connection or something worse? Any help is greatly appreciated!

You have this same exact thread twice in the forums... you should close down on of the threads to you can get useful feedback all in one place. If one of the speakers is busted... it might be more cost effective to just replace the one speaker with another Logic 7 speaker.

I would start by Emailing or IM'ing Evan/Jason over a Tisher BMW with your VIN so they can get your the corect part number you need and some prices on the speakers: http://www.getbmwparts.com/pages/ind...2&pageid=10870

Thanks for the link. could it be anything besides a busted speaker? it works perfectly some times (when I have the radio really loud). I have no clue how I got two threads on here. I only made one. lol

Check connections but it could most likely be speakers.

Check the logic 7 amplifier in the trunk. It's on the left rear side of the car. Make sure there is no moisture there. I had a seal on my tail lamp leak which reeked havoc on my amp.

I'm going to check the connection in a day or two. I'm really hoping that's all it is. but I have been noticing the fan on the amp running when I get out of the car. its actually pretty loud. if the car is off you can hear it inside and outside the car.
