Trans fluid

Is there some kind of alert if the trans fluid becomes dirty/needs to be changed or get low? I know you can't just check it like you can on most cars. Will the 335 throw a code for transmission fluid?

Nope. You just change at what BMW suggests you change at (160k mileage) or whenever you decide to do it.
