I know this has probably been beaten to death...online vendors.
WARNING -
My goal is to find everything on one site. Ive been looking at ECS and Tischer and it seems like I'm going to have to split the order to get the best price. I'm needing to change the oil in my car, also the spark plugs. Is there one online vendor that sells everything I need for a good price? Plugs, oil change kit, socket? Thanks, Max |

Probably not, as with most things from most vendors. Both of those vendors are solid and board sponsors though, so split the order if you want and of you find you have a consistently better experience with one, maybe that will justify their occasionally higher prices. Otherwise, keep doing what you're doing. It's the free market economy way.
FWIW, in no particular order, this is my general vendor list. Not all of them are sponsors here and they don't all stock the same items, but I've read/heard/seen good things about all of them in terms of price and/or service and have done business with some: BimmerBrakes HP Autowerks Raceshopper Tischer TopBrakes Brakeswap Zeckhausen Bimmerworld Mod Bargains (though apparently there have been issues here lately) Alekshop European Auto Source ECSTuning Tire Rack

Iv'e used Mod bargins for all my stuff with no issues. I heard there was shady under-the-table dealing going on or something to give mod bargains a bad rep or something but idk the details.
Although I will say, they one time sent me a wrong part but cleared it up pretty easily and effectively. |

I use ECS almost exclusively unless I need some random individual screw. They only sell them in bulk. When that need arises I order from Tischer.
Don't split the purchase up across various vendors because of small nuances in prices. It's been my experience that ECS and Tischer are almost always within 5% of each other on their prices. You'll negate any savings you might find on individual parts by spending it to ship 2 packages. |

I have a hard time with ECS. They used to be a 40 minute (now 1hr40) drive away from me but their shipping is ridiculous. Doesn't matter if you're just getting a screw, $10 shipping. Put it in an envelope and get it here for $2.50. The only reason I order from them still is because they're close and ground shipping gets it to me next day. I ordered $1000+ from them for my Audi in the 3 years I had it and the shipping killed.
