Yeah, until 1km before scheduled oil change the oil is perfect and as soon as you are 1km overdue the oil is crap... Don't think so.
Something else going on I think.

I have a 2011 X5, although mine has never gone over due but it has complained that the oil level is low before the due date. I have never had any issue with the car even in those conditions. Your circumstances are not normal.

Not normal. Your oil is basically the same as it was 201 KM ago.

lol wouldn't your dealer service dept be the better place to get a faster reply? Obviously a malfunction, DSC disabled not really what I would think is the best and safest way to prevent dirty oil use...

After that i floored the gas and it felt sooo powerful like brand new. The DSC 4x4 warning is gone. Car will probably be dead if my dad kept driving it until july 8. Before getting the oil change it took the car like 20 seconds or more to accelerate to 100km/60miles. But seems it was just the engine oil causing the problems. Oil is around 2 years old.
That's so weird... On my current car I had a situation where I had almost no oil left and whatever was left was very dirty. The car had no problem at all. It would not be good for the car to keep driving it tho.

But why would the car shut down AWD and DSC if the oil is old especially only 200km past? That makes no sense don't you think? And 200km is really nothing... But good for you that the pb is resolved, hopefully it wasn't something else that will pop back up sooner or later.

The mileage on the oil had ZERO to do with the issues you encountered. Totally and completely unrelated. I'm betting there was a bad checksum somewhere or some flaky feedback during that drive cycle and that it simply cleared on its own.
