Try A plan, probably not open on Sunday. They are very competitive. Mention 'BMWLAND' for a further discount. My E92 335d M Sport was not listed on any of the online databases. A plan had it on theirs. Good price too. Tel: 01635 874646

I found A Plan very helpful. I got insured via Zurich in the end. The Zurich website quoted something like £550, A plan arranged it for £470 with no tracker required and all options covered up to the value of the invoice price. |

Scooba, try Peter's suggestion, if you have no luck try Directline.
I'm currently with DL (330d M Sport E46 coupe) & pay about £450,they only want a further 12 odd quid to upgrade to the 335D (no tracker) when it gets it's arse across from goimany. They seemed well up to speed on options on cars when I spoke with them yesterday, not sure about the option on an auto box though. Good luck. |

I used confused.com and saved £150 on my insurance, no i really did, even adding aftermarket alloys at the same time !!.
Ended up with elephant.co.uk being the cheapest with hire car and legal costs included. Suprised me i must admit |

I had a similar problem, most companies were only listing the 335D M Sport Coupe as a manual - which isn't even an option. I had the choice of either selecting 'SE' or selecting the manual. I did the later, took out the policy, then called them and they said they'd update the records and it would be no charge.
I was pleasantly surprised how cheap the 335d was to insure over the 520d

I shopped around quite a few insurers but stayed with my previous insurer 'First Alternative' - I pay just shy of £400 for my 325i M-sport 'vert - also had probs at first because BMW only released SE models which I had initially ordered. As soon as the M-sport appeared on the web-site I changed the spec but the insurers were very slow to follow suit. All it took was a phone call and the operator knew the car was a new model as it had just been aded to her database but would not appear on line for another 14 days or so. Sure enough she was correct - all policy came through fine and I checked a couple of weeks later and the car had appeared on the web site!
They can also insure it as a different model and add a clause into the policy - we leased a grande punto at work when they very first came out- the insurers did not have them on the database but the underwriters spec'd it as a panda 4x4 with a clause in the policy explaining it was a grande punto and inusured as such. The new policy arrived 12 month later and was all correctly worded as a punto. |
