Great looking sport line. I don't see many SLs on here. I can't wait for mine to show up!

Your car is absolutely beautiful. I like the subtle red stripe on the kidney

Black with red interior is very hard to beat. My M3 convertible was the same way. I am only looking into used vehicles for the X1, its pretty much impossible to find a used one with red interior right now. So jelly.

Looks great! I'm confused though as to what determines if the X1 gets the shiny black trim or the flat black. I thought all the lines got it (yours is sport) and only the non-lines got flat black. But your photos disprove that theory!

I believe the sport line gets the shinny black and the M-line gets painted lines and the X-line gets a chrome like line around it! I have the shinny black around my sport line and I'm going to add the performance grill this weekend, to get rid of that chrome trim around the grill. It should look awesome with it on.
Hope that answers your ?

Well, not sure that holds true though. Because if you look at the first black X1 in this thread it appears to be a Sport and does have the shiny black trim (but also Chrome Line Package). Then your photos of your X1 the trim is flat black (under the mirrors and the B pillars). I have a xLine and it has the shiny black trim...but I also have the Chrome Line Package, which adds 1 strip of brushed chrome along the bottom edge of side windows. The several M Sports I have seen also have the shiny black trim.

Yours doesn't look shiny in the pics...you sure they are? I don't see any reflection in them. I'm actually starting to think you only get the shiny trim standard on the M Sport, all other models require the Chrome Line Package to get the shiny trim.

Here is my X1. The red arrows are the shiny black trim and the green arrow is the Chrome Line Package strip.

Sorry, I think I hijacked this thread!

you are right mine is flat black on the B-piller. its not like the rest of the shinny black around the car. gives it more of the shadow line fill
