you want a bolt on billy

i thought it was only vauxhall drivers of the old skool variety which did that (circa late 80's)

Hi there check out the wife's 320d touring in my garage (link on the left)
I attached the chrome tail pipe to get rid of the horrible down-turned pipe.

I got a OEM chrome piece from the dealer over here for my 320D DPF (straight exhaust), cost about 40 euros and makes a hell of a difference IMHO.....

Hi there, I just bought the OEM chrome tip from Ebay (£25) and then I cut the old snout off using an angle grinder. It was then just a matter of sliding on the chrome tip and fixing it in position.

To be honest my four year old E46 320d tailpipe came up quite nicely with some wire wool and solvol autosol metal polish before I got rid of it.

Just a thought, there is a guy on BMWLand called agh! who simply painted his droopy exhaust with heat resistant black paint (e.g. Hammerite type of stuff).

Not quite up to a fitted chrome add-on but cheap and it looks remarkably effective.
