320D Service Question....
The I Drive service indicator has come on for the 30,000 km service and it says it requires an oil and filter change. I am 100kms over so far but want to wait a couple of weeks until I have a day off so I can take it in to be done.
How long do you recommend I can leave it for, I average about 800kms a week, do you think it would be ok to wait for say, 3 weeks ? cheers Andy |

The biggest issue will be the warranty if you extend the interval too far, rather than any real issue with the engine itself (unless you go way over). Your warranty paperwork should detail the margin on service intervals. Usually it's around +/- 10% of the interval at which the service is due, but not sure exactly how this will work with variable intervals. Don't have my car or paperwork close by but suggest check yours, failing that I'd call the dealer.

Hi, i just had a service and because of work could not get my car in on time .The dealer told me that the warranty would not void if i went over the time and mileage, He said 300 - 400 miles is ok and i was about a 3weeks late of the date
