Order placed this morning for a Week 27 build (July 1-7), the first week of MY 2014 production. I watched my CA build the order in the system & my spec sheet lists "609 - Navigation system w/ touchpad", so it's definitely a 2014. Current status 047.

Didn't know dealers could order for 2014's yet. Also don't know what code 47 is. Until it's status 111 it's not really in line for production :P

Code 047 appears to be "Spec. released - no quota avail". Which makes it sound more tentative than I would ideally like... guessing delivery will be 8-10 weeks, sometime in the first half of September.

Assuming your dealer gets you an August production slot, that is a fairly realistic time table!

I think the issue people are dealing with is that as the car in unreleased, as are production slots, no one really knows what's going on ...

Congrats! Not sure what the all packages mean, but well specced anyway. I have to go with business navi because my dealer can´t delay the order for July production. Without touch iDrive I don´t want professional navi at all.

This is a dealer order, not ED. My CA indicated that it is for Week 27... I suppose I don't know for sure if that's a confirmed production slot, or if it's a hoped-for date, which will be turned into an actual (later) production slot when they are released...

If you're referring to satellite radio, it is part of the ZPP (Premium Package), so yes, it's on my build.

A lot rides on the quality/experience of your CA...some will say anything to seal the deal. You can always ask for a print screen from his monitor so you can actually see the scheduled production date for the allocation rather than take his word. Usually the CA will want to show you.

But whatever, it'll be a while till you get the car. I'm presuming it's a Munich build? I'm not up to speed with where each car is being made, but having a SA build can mean a much longer wait.

Definitely Munich since it's a 143U. The NA code for 328i xDrive South Africa is 143V. It's in their system for sure. Keeping my fingers crossed for the first half of September!

Didn't go with the SAT / paddle shifters... just not a fan. I did order the DHP based on lots of feedback from this board.

If you're buying (as opposed to leasing), I would strongly advise you to add this option as it will affect you resale value in the future. Not many people would want an MSport without SAT.

Dealers can input orders and as they receive chassis assignments (allocations) the those get filled by what they have in the order bank.
