You ought to get 2 hours for that. Or is it just the usual BMW mark up?

A well constructed arguement ensuring knots are tied has certainly helped - once all is resolved I will share the story and perhaps some tips!!!
So anyone, the front strut brace will do what?

brace stuff...
Helps with rigidity and in conjuction with uprated shocks, dampers COULD turn it into a seriously nice handling piece of kit. SJ |

so uprated shocks - would an example be the H & R Springs? Is it a worthwhile mod on a 320d?

Sort of - actually uprating the shocks would be going to someting like Koni FSDs (which are great on an e92 - drove one three weeks go, massive difference... want to do it myself) Springs to match the FSDs will be Eibachs, not H&R as they are too progressively wound. Or, you can go for KW2 Coilovers... The US side of the forum has an entire soap opera dedicated to suspension - just bear in mind their idea of bumpy roads and 'cornering' are ever so slightly different to ours!!! |

It's that honey vs. vinegar approach.

Hmm was going to suggest 6FL upgrade but you already have it!
What about going for the drawer that fits in the top of the boot area? Must be about £200. Or you could get some mudflaps maybe? I'm sure you already have a set of mats provided by your company.
