Usually they just fall out while you're driving, unless someone else's did that and they took yours to replace it.

My dealership keeps boxes of them already painted, see if yours has a replacement for you.

Parking lot I know it was stolen because I happened to take a picture of my car before I walked into Home Depot and I looked back at picture to make sure I wasn't crazy... Sadly I'm sane

my local dealership even says that they have to take the covers off because people use to steal them from the cars on the lot -_-

Sorry to hear that man. When I up to NoCal (San Jose area) to see a buddy of mine, someone went low enough to steal my smoked reflector overlays. I mean, who the hell steals reflector film off a car?!

That shit would piss me off... Luckily I live in a place where I haven't seen a single e92 so it's not something I have to worry about.

Sorry OP. Occasionally dealerships will hook you up under warranty if it fell off while driving, though probably not if it was stolen. Unfortunately replacing them is expensive because of the paint job, which despite the size of the part still entails a lot of labor prepping, mixing, etc, so you might want to consider buying 2 or 3 unpainted ones and have them painted together since the labor and paint cost probably won't go up for doing multiples. That way your average cost per cover goes down and you have spares if it happens again. IND sells both painted and non-painted replacements, fyi.
