Are some side mirrors quieter than others?
The side mirrors on my 335is generate a lot of wind noise. The dealer has replaced the door seals and adjusted the doors, but the noise from around the tweeter area is still there and gets intrusive from 60mph on. I removed the tweeter housings to check that the foam inserts are there and they are.
So I'm wondering now whether a change to a different design would make a difference and in fact feasible? Anyone gone this route? |

Yep. It's those stupid ass elephant ear mirrors they decided to go with post 2010...
They do generate wind noise. It sucks. My 2009 328 coupe mirrors did nothing of the sort, and they looked a hell of a lot cooler. |

So would you recommend switching to the earlier model? Any idea if they would be a straight swap and keep the heat/dim/folding functionality?
