ECU tuning group - anyone know anything about them?

I was just talking to a guy at a local shop who is a dealer for themdealer for them. They have a tune for the m5. 71 hp and 100 lbft torque. Apparently it's a piggy back module. Are all the f10
M5 tunes like this?

Just wondering who I should go with.

I heard something about these guys last night from a friend of mine when I was at the drag strip last night. He was saying they have a tune that makes 705hp to crank. Located somewhere around Beverly Hills.

I told him that I had never of them, but I would probably never go with them. We have to be real careful about these tunes.

fully agree!!!

sometimes when a tune companies wanna set themselves apart or make a name, the highest the figures, the more the attention...at least from advertising or editorial persepctives.

However, how many related problems one may experience after the tune are seldom reported or exposed. We hav one real famous local tune company (as well as probably the biggest) earn their living base on giving u a tune + all the related problems which may gradually follow one by one. Some just hav a good formula with doing tricky business. ( some are like this, not all...)

I don't want to doubt the abilities or the talents of any serious tuners or hardcore software geeks out there. I know it is possible to obtain the HP out of this motor but what will the morning after bring. Hopefully, nothing but joy from the owner of the car and lots of good PR.

he told me it was 730 actually. (spoke on the phone) with a cat-back exhaust. but oh well, ill find out soon enough, i just ordered one from them.

if you check out their facebook page, man, these guys tune A LOT of cars. Aventadors, Mclarens, audi r8's, Bentleys,458's jags,. they even sell a tune for the bugatti veyron.

they do nothing but tune exotics all day long, like 30-40 a day...

he told me they've been tuning the new m5/m6's for 7 months. and sell them all the time.

anyway, just sayin.
