Do you look/care at member's info?

Who pays attention to the member's join date? I assume alot of people look at the total number of posts.

Of course IMO how a member (new or old) posts his/her question(s) and/or responses is the most important factor when it comes to respect.

I look at join date sometimes. Posts, not at all, since they don't count in OT and people just whore the regional forums.

i look at the avtars to determine respect
the hotter the avtar, the more respect IMO.

only if the persons thread is pointless beyond my comprehension, i look at their post count to see if their new to the forums. thats about it, i couldnt really care....

Pointless posts can come from anyone IMO, not just newbies... thats a bit of a generalization...

I kinda like to look at people's join dates. I just give respect to the people that have nice posts...they don't have to have useful info...but if they're actually contributing to a conversation then it's a +1 to respect imo.

I find it amusing when people joined 3 yrs ago and have <100 posts. Then feel the need to randomly insert information they feel is relevant to the topic at hand. Or just attack someone and not contribute at all. Or the people who say they have more authority because theyve been here longer but dont post at all except to say theyve been here longer.

Then again, Im just trying to get onto the first page of top posting members...

Well yeah, maybe they have read stuff for 3 years and only feel the need to post when they actually can help someone out.
