Three red men in black panel display
Hi,
When starting my 320D auto I have just noticed that a row of three red symbols that look a bit like weebles appear to the right side of the black panel display. These symbols disappear a few seconds after the engine starts. Please can anyone advise what they mean? |

Interestingly the chap at my Speed Awareness Course (ahem) said that one should always do up the seatbelts in the back even when not in use. Apparently the seat backs themselves aren't as strong and could collapse under the weight of (e.g. tools) in the back. The belts would help keep them up...

Does that mean there is a pressure sensor in the seat, so it knows when someone is sitting on it and thus needs to put on the seat belt.

I'd assume so - they have it on the front seats on the E6x and the E9x as far as I recall

Yes. if you are driving alone with seat belt on no sounds are heard. Once someone sits in the passenger seat and dont engage seat belt, you get to hear loud gong after 2 mins

No, rear seats don't have sensors in them, that is what the graphic is for. It displays which seat belts in the rear are done up.
