hey do you know if your 335xi is going to have an oil cooler in them? I heard some where that all 2008 335's will have an oil cooler, is that true?

335I Ordered Maybe should have ordered 335XI

Have visited this forum in the past, but I finally ordered the 335I coupe so now I have joined the forum. I live in Seattle and am wondering if I should have gotten the xi. Those of you who live here know we had a crazy winter last year. Mine should come end of Oct to mid NOV.

I'm not 100% positive, but I think they will have oil coolers. That was one of the problems with the earlier batch of 335s is that they didn't have oil coolers hence the overheating problem (so I've heard).

Some later ones like the '07s got them retro fitted by the dealerships. Hopefully, they have put them in all of the '08s. If not, I think you can always request the dealership to retro fit them for you. Just my 2 cents.

I thought about that also before ordering. But I figured that it wasn't so bad as far as the winters we've had, compared to other states like Wisconsin, Ohio, Main, etc. So I opted not to get the 335xi.......Saved me about $1500 or so which allowed me to get a few more options on my 335........

I'm leasing so I can't go crazy on the mods. First thing I'm gonna do is get it tinted 30% then take off the stupid reflector. Thinking about doing Procede but want to see how potent the car is in stock form before making my decision.

Yup....KUNI would be the one. I actually had gone to Rassmussen to get a quote for the exact car, and they wouldn't budge on the price for an '08.

The best they can do was about $1000 or maybe a little less on the final price. There were also a few other "fees" that I've never even heard of that got added onto the price, which Kuni didn't have. Things like training fees, and ad fees, etc.

Anyway, Kuni has always been good to us, we bought three cars from them already, so we already had a good business relationship.

Thanks anyway......

If one is negotiating up from invoice; training fee and MACO are part of the invoice on every car in PDX. Kuni just wrapped them into the deal for you.

I still invite you to come see me for service though!

I ordered my new coupe at Kuni as well, the customer service was absolutely the best. I first went into Rasmussen and no one would give me the time or day, I was dressed in slacks, buttoned up shirt and even had my bling bling rolex on. The next day I went to Kuni wearing shorts and a t-shirt and they greeted me right away and asked if I needed any help.

Rasmussen can kiss my ass, I will never recommend them to anyone.

LOL.....Rass just seems deserted everytime I've been there, definitely not as friendly as Kuni....IMO.

But then again, I'm sure there are some people who has had better experience than us @ Rass, so it can go both ways......But it doesn't matter to me one bit, I knew it was hard to beat the price I got from Kuni.
