Track Pads for 328i?

I'll be taking my 2007 328i to the track in a few weeks and I'm looking for some track compound brake pads for it?

I checked on Hawk and Performance Friction's web sites and they don't list any.

Does anyone know who makes a track pad for this car and where to buy them?

Thanks!

Alan

Is this your first track event? Check the size number for the pads, sometimes you can find the same size pads, but they are listed under a different model.

i.e. performance friction z-rated ones for my fronts are the same size for E36 M3s.

I was also desperately looking for some track pads for my 330 recently. (I'm assuming your 328i has calipers more like the 330 than the 335.) I also never found any official listing for pads from Hawk, Pagid, Cobalt, etc. The bimmerworld.com site DID list Hawk pads for the E90, and after getting e-mail assurance from them, I placed an order for HT-10's front & rear. Turns out my 330 w/ Sport pkg. uses the same pads as the E46 M3.

My track day is still about 10 days away, but I did remove both the front and back wheels to do a spot-check to make sure the pads would fit. They do in fact fit, and the only possible problem I found is the spring clip on the rear piston-side pad is MUCH smaller than the stock pads. I pried it out, but it still only just touches. It is my understanding that this is mainly to reduce noise, so I suppose they will be loud!

Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing some better braking performance, but will take my stock pads for back-up.
