2007 328xi wheel setup
So im sure its on here, but im new to this..
Recently i purchased a 328xi and it has some ugly aftermarket cheap black rims on it. Im replacing them with a set of staggered OEM 162's. These wheels will not be an issue correct?? im confused by all this rolling diameter stuff that i have been reading about. Thanks to anyone who helps!! |

So what size tires would be appropriate for this staggered setup using the 162's?

The suggested sizes here give you: Code:
. Tire 1 Tire 2 Size 225/40-18 255/35-18 Section 225 mm (8.9") 255 mm (10") Sidewall 90 mm (3.5") 89 mm (3.5") Diameter 637 mm (25.1") 635 mm (25") ==> 2 mm (0.24%) shorter. Revs/Mile 804.6 807.1 ==> 2.5 less So, 0.24% < 1% = Good To Go And, 2.5 revolutions per mile < 3 revs per mile (I've heard as many as 4 is ok) = Also good to go. Call Gary. Order Tires. |

in the 225/40-255/35 size, i cant even find a set that have a difference in revolutions per mile less than 3. everything is from 8 to even 14 or more!
do i have to get different tire brands? |
