Considering you can get H&R for $260 shipped here, I'd just go w/ H&R. The ride is great http://www.gtmotoring.com/product_in...oducts_id=1535

There's nothing wrong with megan. If Megan offered coilovers for the f30 I would buy them. I've switched two of my cars from Tein to Megan, and never had issues. Megan tech group is really helpful too.

you must be one of the lucky ones.. i've heard / seen multiple megan coils blown from track use or just simply hitting a bump on the street. they are not a quality parts.. If certain auto parts are cheap, there i always reason why. by the way basic teins are not great either..
just google up, you'll see buncha forum people needing to rebuild these due to leaks and blows..

Yeah, I had Megan coils on my old 04' Civic whenever i go over speed bump it will make a squeaky sound. Quality is awful! I certainly would not take this coils to track.

I never tracked them, but on the street was fine. No squeaks. I never used basic tein's, they were flex. Megan's are made by BC.

My only issue with the Megan's on my r56s was that the damping was not consistent with the numbers and the springs were at different rates, which I had fix by rotating up or down the collar perch. There was a difference on 2" on one side

Why not pony up just a bit more for reputable springs? I'd rather pay $80 more for the H&R springs. If the Megan springs were $50... then.... maybe.... nah.
