Went into a local Stealers today pick up my new car
and outside was this ''Beast'' how many estates do you know that can carry a washin' machine, two labs and still out accelerate an Audi R8 to the ton:rocks: BMW, they know how to make fast, well built and good looking cars first m5 touring i have seen, i think it looks good.. not sure if the m6 esque wheels are stock or not?! I'm really not keen on the 5-series generally and think your Coupe looks far better than the M5 Touring.
The M5 engine is phenomenal and when I see an M5 I know I'd love the power but the saloon looks average and the Touring looks awful to me. I just could never own one and be happy...I really like the interior and the engine but not the styling of the car at all...I'd have to get the M6 which is more my kinda car.

M5 saloon, yes... think I'd prefer an M5 saloon to an M3 but Tourer??? That's just wrong. If you have a dog and a washing machine and can afford an M5 tourer get two cars... a volvo estate and an M5 saloon.

An M5 used properly has a range of 180 miles. When i was at Sytner Notts the other week, they had one in they had just bought one back. The fella lived in Scotland, 50 miles from the nearest fuel, he got fed up after a week. |

Hmmm its missing a bit of wood panelling on the side then it could be used as a prop in american films from the 80s (or whenever they had those horrible estate cars with wood panelling on the side!)

It may not be your cup of Tea, but it derserves repect anyhow, i am not a major fan of estates but the RS4 and M5 estates look good for our ''Load lugging'' counterparts
I am not really a fan of convertibles, but give where its due, the new m3 'vert will be a good car just give me the roofed version Carlos

DervFan - admit it you want someone to photoshop the wood panneling onto your touring just out of interest

I don't know, it's bad enough being discriminated against for having a Diesel (on other car sites). Now I'm being chastised for having a Touring I think you'll find others on here who have more woodwork in their dash
