MORR not a vendor anymore???

Since when and why????

I just tried to search some information and the threads created by MORR Alloys in the vendors section say that he is not a vendor anymore.

Correct me if I'm wrong please.

Probably didn't pay vendor dues on time. The admins are somewhat, shall we say, strict on paying the bills on time. BavDom, you out there? Any hints as to Carlos's whereabouts?

In all likelihood payment is already on its way and threads will be restored within 24 hours or so...

This happens with a lot of vendors on here...

I personally think it is a bad policy...and I am an editor/moderator on Audiworld..and I have a lot of experience with this. I was one of the ones that got Tirerack to advertise on Audiworld many moons ago.

Yeah...but I guess from the moderators' perspective...this usually gets prompt attention from the vendors to pay up.

Maybe another solution would be rather than locking threads generated by the vendors...would be to have the vendors locked from responding to PMs and posting new or replying to threads until they have paid up. This way the existing thread remains open for members to read for information...but still provides an "incentive" for the vendor to pay up quickly.

Well at least it's good to know that Carlos will be back, cause I've also tried to contact him on his phone but he's not answering.

I hope to hear from him soon, I need to ask him a couple of questions too.

i'm sure it's just that they didn't pay their fees.

according to the admins, the vendors get ample notice to renew.

maybe instead of making threads started by the vendor totally not viewable when the fee is not paid, there should be a probationary period where the thread is just closed but still viewable.
