I was driving my car (07 328i coupe) today and this symbol appeared on my computer screen (non i-drive), i don't know what it is? Need help, what do i have to do?
Im really really sorry if this is the wrong section.

Looks like some sort of light malfunction. Check out all your exterior lights, headlights, brake lights, etc. Or, read your manual, or, take it to the dealer.

You need to add some light fluid.. Open the hood and look for the cap with the light bulb on it. Go to your local auto store and buy lumens 250 grade, you should only need a few oz's.

You've got an exterior light out (headlight, brake light, etc). Why would you need roadside assistance ??

Don't think he caught what you were trying to say. Does that light fluid still only come in quart sizes, or have they put out gallon jugs yet ??

I think this really depends on if hes got halogens or HID's. The latter could definitely change the grade and pricing.

ive got that aswell...
i keep driving. it has to do with the break pedal sensor i believe...

Just drive it to the dealer. Think about it dude, it's most likely only a bad bulb or something equally simple. Don't over react.

Would you spend the night in hotel and call an electrician the next morning because a lamp burned out a bulb in your house?

No i won't. But this is my first car, and im trying to take care of it as much as possible. Thanks for the info.

May '07 build without the light fluid cooler...do I qualify for a retrofit?

I've had that damn symbol come off and on for the past 2 months, everytime I check all lights are working, I'm guessing its the adaptive brake lights but it stays on for a day or two and then checks normal for a while then comes back on. I'm in no rush to get it checked, I'm waiting till I actually can find a burnt out light.

I've had that a few times, it just goes away on its own. no lights were out.

Would that be the light light fluid or the heavy light fluid? Do they make a middleweight light fluid that is good for all lighting conditions?

So I guess heavy water is out of the question.....

I hope the OP doesn't misread and adds lighter fluid....that would be very dangerous.
