weird ticking noise
My car makes this noticable ticking noise now in days, it started to happen as soon as winter came by and snow started to fall. Any body have any idea what it is? also i've noticed that when my car is idling i can hear this faint sound, it sounds kind of like a phone is ringing.

This is really a ticking sound though . Although 335 are not suppose to get this problem. You should record it with your phone and put it up here. |

use heavier weight oil and put a half quart more in once full.
Happens all the time. I switched oils in my E46 and Bam noise went away. Used Shell Rotella 5W40. |

+1. It's common with the n52s as well so unless the problem persists after several minutes of driving, there shouldn't be anything to worry about.
