How does the price they're asking compare to the values you found when you looked up that model and options on KBB.com, Edmunds.com, and nadaguides.com? What comparably equipped E92's are available within a 2hr radius of Birmingham and how are they priced? Is this car priced higher or lower than those other price ranges?

Did you read the Carfax in detail? There's a couple interesting tidbits... First is that Roswell Mitsubishi offered it for sale on 9/15, so they've had it a little while. Other is the 10/25 "vehicle sold" -- find out what that means before investing any more time in it.

+1

Seems like someone already bought it also that seems kind of pricey for a 2009 328i when you can get an 08 or even maybe an 09 335i at that same price with a little more mileage on it. But I don't know how prices are on the East Coast so I was just basing my prices here from the West.

First one is pretty, though mileage over 52k I'd personally skip - if only because if I were buying I'd like a little bit of factory warranty left "just in case".

Second one has a reported accident, though the owner kept the car over two years past the accident so I wouldn't be too worried about it. Definitely would want a thorough PPI and call the shop's attention to examine the left side carefully.

Someone want to send Roswell Mitsubishi a CAPS-LOCK key? Seems theirs is broken... *rolleyes*

That Mitsubishi dealer has 94 used Bimmers and 50 Mercs...compared to 64 new Mitsus.

Gotta stock what sells? Interestingly they're just down the road from Roswell BMW, though a bit further from the nearest Merc dealer.

Ok. this is a new deal I've found! the dealer is selling it for 21,000 out the door and the FCU rate is 1.99%. What do you guys think?

How bad could it have been when the original owner kept it for nearly three years after the accident? Certainly worth heightened awareness and detailed inspection, but IMHO not always an automatic pass.

Another problem is that it is an X-drive...I don't want to start a nerd fight but I'm pretty sure they don't have the same sport suspension as rwd coupes. plus x-drive is slower and a 328 is slow enough already--I have one so I know.

Hell no, id go with your first option at the mitsu dealer. that last one doesnt have nav, no sport seats, wrecked, and personally i think the color is garbage. If it was me i would definately take the 1st option you posted.
