Battery question
I removed my passenger seat to work on it. Before doing so, I disconnected my battery.
Can I plug back my battery and drive around without having my passenger seat on ? I dont want to have an airbag light on and go to the dealer. Thanks |

No you will throw a CEL as soon as you do.
The system works to measure an ohm value against the standard of what typically is called a shunt and when they don't agree they throw a code. However if you have someone that can read and reset codes they can do that for you. Most quality BMW shops can do that for you for a very low fee... |

Your airbag light will turn on if the side airbag is not connected.
