Another EBII arrival

Apologies for the poor pics, but I was just keen to get behind the wheel. Hopefully will get the chance to take some decent shots sooner rather than later.

Not surprisingly can confirm all the previous feedback, stunning to look at and boy does it shift. Dealer told me not to worry about running in so I took a 120 mile diversion to test out his theory!

My only grumble is the poor artwork quality from my ipod classic, much sharper on my iPhone5. Does anyone use a new itouch or previous? Resolution on my classic will just annoy me, so providing there are no none issues I'll trade up.

Nice! I also have the issue with my iPod classic, I keep having to explain to people that album art does usually look better than that it's just I have an old iPod!

Very annoying...

Thanks all. Weirdly enough I was up for work early today, didn't even mind sitting in a bit of traffic, as it gave me a chance to explore the menus.

I have to say the engine is unbelievable, never really been a diesel fan but this has blown me away, has the familiar 6 pot hum with no sight/sound of that its diesel powered!

That comment made me laugh so much I fell off my chair - just fantastic!

Oh and the car looks great - fabulous choice! I'm one of quite a few who have pretty much same spec coming soon (but not soon enough).

Wow, the 330d must be quite an experience for you then, if you've never tried even the last generation of fast diesels. I think you may be in for a lot of very happy miles ...

Congratulations on your excellent taste in colour and wheels

I have a very useful person at Berry's in Chiswick who is tracking it - she tells me its due on a boat on the 3rd and with them on the 7th - with me the week after.

Didn't have to push her hard to get the information it seemed like she had access to this information.

I seem to get different info about delivery depending on who I speak to at my dealer. Told today the tracking isn't up to date and can be very pessimistic regarding dates. I guess that's a good thing!

Definitely, I initially looked at a 328i, that wasn't for me, then 335i, but financially couldn't make it work, I had read all the comments on here but was always a little sceptical but now

BMW UK should be able to track it via order number or chassis number. Worth ringing customer services. They managed to tell me mine was at "code 1200 - Production imminent".

You'll find yourself doing very strange things...early starts and late finishes..just popping to the shops...etc... its going to be hard explaining to the wife..

Enjoy!!

My salesman sends me a screen dump of the order page every week. On Monday it was Code 5500 Assembly Complete. Any ideas when I should expect delivery?

In regards to the iPod Classic and crap looking album art, I'm guessing my iPod Photo artwork is gonna look even worse!

Hey matey, brilliant colour choice

Makes me sad that it wasn't me picking that car up, lol. Enjoy and hope you have many trouble free miles ahead.
