"Reset" Emergency Trunk Release Handle?
I had to remove my trunk lid liner to replace a bulb in the tail lights. As part of the process, I pulled and then disconnected the emergency trunk release handle to get the liner completely off. I was putting the trunk back together again the there now seems to be some slack in cable so that the handle is not sitting flushly against the liner as it did before.
Is there some way to "reset" the release mechanism so the cable retracts? |
