which grill manufacturer?

I want to pull the trigger on a matte black grill for my '09 E91 and have seen a few manufacturers. Turner, Bimmian etc.,
Is one a higher quality than another? They aren't prohbitively expensive or anything so i'd like to get the best one. thanks ahead.

All the same. However, I tend to order from Tischer. True BMW OEM Performance grilles were the way to go for me. I sold some matte black grilles that I bought from **********s and they were decent as well. Sold them to get the glossies though from Tischer.

I wish I spent the extra money to get the ones from Tischer.. But the Matte ones you'll find are great, I just want to keep all my mods OEM.

I was going to get the OEM ones as well but it looks like they only make glossy black ones? I suspect the matte black ones will look much better on my platinum bronze sedan. Not sure though. What do you guys think?

Sure- gloss black tends to look good on the solid colors- like black, and black LOL.
Perhaps maybe blue as well.
Matte is a nice color for the in between colors such as the one you have IMHO.
I would go for the ones on **********s.

They all generally are made by 1 factory and sold by different companies. Jgmods also sells them. I have a pair from them and they look awesome.

+1 I didn't like the matte grilles either, I thought they looked a little gray in the sun!

If you have black factory trim on the outside, the OEM matches great.

I bought my OEM gloss black grill from Monrovia BMW and it was the cheapest I found by far. Not sure what Tischer is selling theirs for right now.

just a word of advice: the matte finish looks like old, faded plastic... glossy suits the car a lot better, especially if you have the shadowline trim.

Really? I haven't seen any in person unfortunately, but they seem to look OK in people's photos? I thought the glossy OEM ones would be too shiny for my car =\ (platinum bronze sedan)

Its still plastic, even the glossy is not a super bright gloss. But totally get what you want!

If only I knew what I wanted

I guess I will have to check both types out in person before making a decision... damn, I was hoping to order them ASAP.

Weber is pretty good, I think charbroil has some problems. Get something with stainless inside so it's easier to clean, the cast iron will rust and fall apart after a while.
