How many miles do you have, have you replaced the battery?
sounds like its having trouble turning over...Id get the battery tested at autzone for free. might be the starter? I havent heard of faulty fuel pumps in N52's, unless you got some sedimented fuel inside the tank from a bunk gas station. any codes come up? |

Could be the fuel pressure regulator losing pressure overnight and takes a little time to build pressure on initial start up. Could also be a leaking fuel injector/s same scenario, lost pressure and takes some cranking to re build the pressure it's supposed to be holding for quick starts.
I have that thump you have just as it turns over. Dealer checked fuel pump and pressure regulator on mine and found it in spec. They said it could just be the battery not being a BMW battery |
