320d performance question
Greetings
Have a 177 320d M sport...looks alot faster than it is...want it to go faster but I have heard the q126 torque converter in my model is a bit weak, hence bmw offer the S126 to replace with their power kit. QUESTION, should I just get the power kit and be satisfied with 197 hp, or do I get a remap (215), forge intercooler and order a S126 TC instead. BMW are just rediculous with their charges. They charge A$220 per hour to fit the darn thing if I get the kit (I asked if they have a team of neurosurgeons working on the car). Anyone know a cheap place to get BMW parts like the power kit or a new TC? Appreciate any comments |

It depends on your worries about warrenty... And afterwarts...
It is a nice bump in Torque... but it keeps being a BMW product so it is still conservative...
