Error DME 5E18

Hi Guys,

When scanning my car with INPA while running the DME brings up the error 5E18 however when i turn the car off it disappears.

Does anyone know what this could be affecting or why it is coming up? all i can find is CAN DME/DDE message faulty.

what year is your car? many members had issues with MSD80 Dme's, maybe thats what your experiencing.

My cars a November 2007 build e93 320i. Do you know the fix or is it not a big deal?
