Swapping Michelin PSS?

Man, BMW really seems to like negative camber After seeing what it did to the rears on my car, it really seems like a shame to throw away all that meat on the outside. Since I switched to Pilot Super Sports, I was wondering if they could be swapped left-right or remounted the other direction to increase tread life, or is that not recommended? I don't think they are directional. I have the staggered sport setup.

They're not directional but are inboard/outboard. Just how it is with the rears.
How many miles did you get out of them?

Well the picture shows the stock Bridgestone RFTs in the rear.. this set lasted about 27K miles I think. The fronts made it about 68K.

Also, I think BMW recommends getting an alignment done when new tires are put on. Is this really necessary? I just had an alignment done a few months ago with my old tires and it just seems like a waste to take it in again.

That's good mileage. I won't get 27k on my rear PSS.
Alignment is a good idea if it's been a couple years.
