If your have rubbing you gonna have a mark on the tires as well.
It would be like black line going round your tires.

low pitched usually, sounds like a muffled scraping noise.

you can look for marks on the tires as well as on the fenders/fender liners.

yes its possible to hit the inside of the fender wells, springs, struts, inner fender liner, etc depending on the car and how low, what offsets, tire size.

if the offset of your wheel is too high, you will rub on the strut side(inside).... if your offset is too low, you will rub on the fender side(outside)....

and rubbing sounds like rubbing....

yeah me too, that's why I went to a smaller tire and decided to deal with the occasional rubbing. I heard either the paint cracks or there are waves in your fender.

you have to heat up the fender first.... so the paint get soft and moves with the fender instead of cracking.... bring it to a good shop to get it done....

any recommendation as to which shop to go to?

its weird, i m only rubbing on the rear passenger side, could a faulty shock or spring cause it? i do hear scrunchy noise from that wheel going thru a big dip or backing out of a steep drive way on to the street.

i will post some pic of the tire rub tomorrow.
