iPhone 4 16GB in black (Orange network)

Here for sale is my Apple iPhone 4 16GB in black locked to the Orange network. Its in excellent condition with no scratches to the screen or glass back plate due to having a case and screen protector on since purchase. It's just over 12 months old bought from Apple Store at the Trafford Centre. It comes with original box/manuals along with headphones and USB/charger cable and plug. I will also throw in the car charger, packet of screen protectors and a black Speck case that's worth £20. Its got use of iOS 6 and can be unlocked to use on any network i believe. Only selling due to upgrade to iPhone 5. Apple do not sell this 16GB version any longer and sell the 8GB version for £320.

Looking for £250 and ill post it recorded delivery.

You might find it's unlocked if you bought it direct from Apple.

Not 100% sure if I'm honest, I bought the phone mid way through an 18 month orange contract because my 3GS broke but I'm sure I bought the orange locked phone as the unlocked phone was about a tenner more.

If your old phone broke and you just went into an Apple store and bought a replacement then it will be unlocked. If your old phone broke and you went into an Apple store and paid the reduced cost for a refurbished/warranty item then it will be locked to Orange.

I hope I'm not causing trouble in your thread. It's just that an unlocked item is obviously more attractive and should help your sale.

No you're not causin trouble at all. I paid £500 for the phone at the Apple store, stuck a new orange micro sim in an that was that. How do you tell if its unlocked, is there anything in the menus?

It'll be unlocked then. You could try someone elses SIM obviously. Or if you're near a store ask them.
