TCU power lead and fuse box?
Hello all,
I stupidly shorted out the power lead on the TCU unit in the trunk (pin 17 on connector X695). The circuit popped, and I set about finding the now burnt fuse and replace it. According to the WDS (I have version 7), pin 17 is connected to F26, a 10A fuse. So, I pop open the fuse box, and discover that my car doesn't even have a fuse in the F26's spot. Oh also, the WDS says that the wire should be RT/GE (i.e. red/yellow), but it is in fact red/green. Can anyone help me with this? Are these known errors in the WDS? Anyone know what the real fuse is supposed to be? An how pin 17 is actually connected in the car? If it matters, my car is a Canadian E90 with TCU pre-wiring. Thanks! |

Not really, no. I was probing around for an ignition lead in the trunk, and managed to short out said pin on the TCU connector. It still doesn't work, but I can't find anything else in the car that doesn't work.
