Center Exhaust Bracket for an E90 335i
I'm wondering if anyone can help answer my question whether or not I'll need to replace my OEM center exhaust bracket (CEB) for my car? I've installed a nice aftermarket exhaust, and when I got under the car I noticed that my CEB was missing. My car is a CPO, so there was a previous owner. I know that the previous owner definitely made mods to the car, but I'm not sure if he replaced the exhaust or not. Anyways I'm assuming that he did, and maybe he did not replace the bracket for a reason?
Would anyone be able to tell me before I go to the dealer and replace the CEB whether or not it is needed? If I do need it I'm assuming that my upgraded exhaust should be able to bolt up with the CEB, but I'm not 100% sure. If I were to guess why the CEB is missing I'm assuming that maybe the aftermarket exhaust the previous owner bought didn't fit onto the OEM CEB or they simply forgot to reattach it. PLEASE HELP! Thank you. |

I know this is a late reply but i had to remove mine also. Will not fit with some exhausts I guess you have to custom fab it or use washers.

Thanks for the help. Actually I was able to make it fit however I had to go to autozone and install a longer center bolt in order to bolt the bracket down.
