Running 20's on my e92...

Hi Guys, just wondering if the following set up would be fine for my e92

20, 9" front et 40 with 235/30/20

20, 10.5" rear et 35 with 285/25/20

I know that quite a few guys in the U.S are running this setup with no problem without the car being dropped.

Ive just fitted h&r sport springs and was wondering if i would get any rubbing after ive rolled the fenders?

I think that will work but why go not bigger off tires?

235 on a 9" is to small, go with 245 or 255

In the back maybe 295

I have 8,5" with 245 and 9,5" with 285

I dont think the size you have in your mind will fit on E92.
I have 20X8.5 20X10 235/30 285/25 on my e92. I can use this size set up only using Toyo Proxes T1R or Pilleri P-zero Nero. BS, YH, DL,MI, you have to use 265/25 on the rear because of the shape of the side wall. You need to talk to someone who has already 20s on E92. Even my set up on the stock suspension, I had to roll my fender a little. ..

Ive been to a few body shops today and they said they cant roll the arches esp on the rear due 2 it being alloy. The only other thing they said was to flare out the arches at the rear or try the 20's with the stock suspension, in 2 minds what to do now......

OH YES... the arches CAN definitely be rolled out in the rear. i was rubbing like crazy with 275 on et30 19's but the fender rolling worked out pretty well. I just posted a pic in the M6 wheels thread....

If they're saying they cant roll the rears they're blowin smoke up your ass.

Probly scared they'd mess up a Bimmer, so they're telling you it cant be done to avoid looking bad.

245 or 255 would be the accurate tire size for the front. 235 is too small. The 285 in the back is perfect though.

Were running 20" RD Sport RS2-F on our E92.

20x8.5 +32
20x10 +27

Falken FK452 245/30/20
Falken FK452 285/25/20

On KW V2 coilovers. There was a small bit of rubbing in the rear in the beginning, but we did slight inner fender work and adjusted the coilovers and no problems. Also had to adjust the toe on the rear but it needed an alignment anyways.

Depend on what tires you have. Toyo T1R in 245/30/20 and 285/25/20 and some fender rolling will be perfect. I run these setup on all the 20" wheels we sold for e92.

so with a 35 offset on a 20x10.5 wheel i would still need to roll the fender?
The wheels I am looking at are 20x9 and 20x10.5 both with a 35 offset. The vehicle is a E92. I guess the tires will be 245/30R20 and 285/25R20 let me know.

.

If you get KW V2 be careful with a 40 offset in the front! Even a 34 offset in the front is very very close to the coilover.
