I would also be interested in some guidance re this.

I have an e92 pre-lci so my angel eyes are more of a yellowish colour. Would like to get the new whiter look that the new e92's have.

Lux are xenons aren't they rather than LEDs?

Fact is you'll NEVER get as bright as the LCI ones though chaps as that has 3 LEDs going around in thirds whereas pre LCI it's fired from the bottom.

Lux gets a pleasing appearance but with a massive price.

I'd just get some ultra bright ring markers from SSDD which sort the colour out - but accept they'll never be so noticable in direct sunlight ..

LUX are LEDs but cost £200 and are no brighter than the BMS LEDs (rebranded cree LED markers) which can be purchased from JuicedUpTuning for £80.

Alternatively you can buy the Cree LED markers off ebay for £50~.

Don't bother with LUX, if you are after super bright rings then you have to go down the HID route but they look a little chav.

Very expensive to say the least fair enough very good quality but they don't give out that much extra light to justify paying that kind of money as the halogen rings are poor in the lci

I bough 10w Cree AE from the States, whereas most of the AE available for LCI halogens this side of the pond are 6w.

Even with 10w they aren't very visible in the sunlight but stick the sun behind a cloud and they look very good & I'd recommend them.

High Performance Bulbs were very helpful too & bent over backwards to help me, try emailing Fred at email

Just a word of warning. The lux website says it's angel eyes for halogen lci lights are not compatible with VALEO headlights. As most EU e90s use VALEO headlights this might be a problem for those wanting to use lux.

Maybe they've changed things but I'm sure I saw ZWK headlights only a while ago.
