Lambo doors on Z4
don't flame, not my car, just thought I would share. I guess it helps a bit for long doors in narrow parking lots, but it seems like it would make it 10x harder to get in and out!
Curious to see other's opinions! |

yeah... i hate this mod! in europe have a lot of cars this doors. there's a firm, called "LSD", which offers special door hinges for nearly every vehicle type.
The first half this doors open like usual doors (so you can get out like allways). After that you can swing them upwards. Looks really stupid. Here you find an animation of the hinge: http://www.lsd-solutions.com/indexlsd.html Costs..... about 2000 $ i think.

Makes a person look like a real goof trying to in and out of a door that opens like that in the pic. Zero class points.

And the car itself has such potential, being Sterling Gray over red with a gray top. Switch to red-clear tail-lights, clear headlights and sidelights, drop the chrome-lipped wheels for some 108s, you'd really have something.

Found the site where I originally saw pics of a Z4 with lambo doors. Check out the black one on the second, third, and fourth row of pics. I think the doors actually look pretty cool on that car, but what really drops my jaw is the interior -- it's AMAZING!!! Slightly going off topic here, but just looking at the inside, it has carbon dash and roll hoops, and even the guage cluster is carbon. Plus custom alcantra seats and steering wheel!!
