Had a Prang

Got rear ended earlier, spoke to the insurance company who are sorting it out, but l looked at the axle, or the bit behind the right hand wheel earlier and it's pushed forward, does this look problematic ?

Impossible to tell from that photo

If you're concerned lift up the boot floor cover and check for any signs of damage to the area - obvious creases, cracks in paint/sound deadening etc etc
Check all shut lines round the boot

It doesn't immediately look like enough to t/loss a newish car though

I slowed down for the car in front but the woman behind unfortuntely didn't. Gave me a right wallop. Ill have a look in the morning. The boot is jammed though so may just leave it for the experts. I doubt there will be enough damage for it to be totalled. Hope not anyway.

Ahhh man! Im sorry to hear! Anytime I see a woman driving behind me at close distance....I always fear the worst! (No offence to any women)

Lets hope it gets fixed!

BTW you can now get a new diffuser: Some of the LCI msport's have this diffuser with fins! Approx £130! Looks mean!

Had similar damage done to my old e90 . The battery box etc had to be pulled . Also make sure to claim for depreciation value .When the time came to get rid of mine I lost over a grand in trade value because it was accident damaged.

Garage List
I had something similar where someone hit my Freelander 2. The knocked the rear right wheel so hard it bent in, making it almost impossible to get it onto the trailer when they picked it up to fix it.

Easy enough repair though and all the bent parts were just bolt on bolt off. As long as the chassis or floor pan and whatnot isnt damaged, it should just be a case of taking off the bent stuff and putting new bits on.

To be honest, I've been loans a brand new 320d msport saloon though the insurance company and its great, really impressed, its a lot more comfortable that the 330d and still pretty rapid, ive taken a photo of under the lining in the boot, and you can see daylight, however it looks like a plastic casing so it shoudnt be too bad to replace

That well is all plastic.

Maybe they could replace it with a spare wheel well!

(Just joking, I know those monkeys at BMW design didn't leave enough space for one )

Does the latest model have one I wonder...
