Angel eyes advice please - too much info & confused!
Hi Guys
I want to change the yellow looking angels asap! There's so much info on this site and its such a great read.. however thats the problem.. theres TOO much info and it's totally confused me! There are so many types out there its unbelievable. So.. I understand that with my car (2008 E93 320i M Sport Convertible) all i'll need to do is change the light source so no need to change the actual rings etc. Question is.. which ones do I get?! What I'm looking for: A nice white light (not purple or blueish) that can be seen in the day clearly and obviously at night! Something that will match my xenons nicely. I want that OEM look. I've seen the BMS LED upgrade kit, however Neil has informed me that they're discontinued for now and should get some in within the next few months. But.. im impatient! A very knowledgable person fitted the angel rings in my TT and he recommended that I perhaps go with these - Umnitza - distrubuted by CA technologies in the UK. Has anyone had these fitted? 1) http://www.ca-int.co.uk/single_prod-...faWQ9OQ==.html 2) http://www.ca-int.co.uk/single_prod-...faWQ9OQ==.html I've been told that the first link are the 'lite'/economy ones and the second link are the premium ones - although none have had any problems whatsoever. I'm steering towards the second ones.. thoughts? Alternatively, can anyone suggest a simple, popular product to go for.. as im so confused with all the different opinions! Again, what i'm looking for OEM whiteness (no blueish or purple) that can be seen clearly in the daylight I defo don't want to go down the route of changing the actual rings! Thanks very much in advance! Much appreciates Suraj |

I bough 10w Cree AE from the States, whereas most of the AE available for LCI halogens this side of the pond are 6w.
Even with 10w they aren't very visible in the sunlight but stick the sun behind a cloud and they look very good & I'd recommend them. High Performance Bulbs were very helpful too & bent over backwards to help me |

Hey bud, I'm also looking to do this next and also confused as to what is closest to OEM with a good / fair price tag.. nothing silly! The link above shows one of my mate's getting one of the brightest (10w) I believe for £60 a pair, from SSDD Motorsport (Teddy) based in Staines area. He's well known on this forum.. just worth you considering if you're looking to upgrade. Can anyone comment how these (SSDD ones) compare to the BMW 4 previouly sold by Neil at Juiced? |

Hey guys.. Thanks for the replies. Those ones from SSDD look good.. And for £60 you can't go wrong! I'm not far from Staines.. So could nip down there. I've emailed them, hopefully they'll let me try a few pairs to see what fits me best - that would be awesome.
Anyone else gone with other suppliers with the same price as SSDD or BMS? Show us your pics and share your thoughts/suppliers guys! Cheers Suraj |
