Hi, I have a 56 plate e91 M with business nav installed. Do you know if this is compatible in any way & what else would I need harware wise? I know I will need coding etc but would it technically work & physically fit?

its compatible and you would only need a few leads and emulator.

Hmmm, understand about the leads but not too sure about the emulator?

I notice that you have CIC upgrade, where did you have this done & how much etc.

SOrry about all the questions but I am looking to upgrade the dire Business Nav & also to add bluetooth & USB.

The CAN emulator is used to activate Navigation, Voice Control, and Video In Motion without having to buy expensive FSC codes from the dealer especially when fitting a CIC unit from another car which will have the donor vehicle's VIN number stored in it.

You can get further advise from Patryk at Bimmertech or Alex at BimmerRetrofit.

I retrofitted a CIC unit into my car and I never had iDrive to start with. My next step is getting the Combox to add Bluetooth and 6FL (USB/aux input).
