Nor Cal: Anyone willing to help a fellow forum member?

Seems everyone on here has angel eyes and I finally decided to make the move. I ended up going with a set of LUX and will need help installing them.
Located in the bay area and willing to drive and meet up.

Thanks!

It's actually relatively easy. The hardest part is contorting your hands to line up the bulb. Just get ready for some possible small cuts.

I have pretty big hands... Also worried about lining up bulbs, even light distribution etc.. Basically, I don't trust myself.

It's a VERY easy task if you have the proper equipment. They also have a fairly walk-through in the DIY section but worst case scenario if you can bring a jack/scissor jack over to the San Jose area I'd be willing to help you out.

Turn your wheel toward the inside, turn the thing on the wheelwell to unveil the back of the headlight housing and happy modding. Repeat on otherside. Takes less than 20mins.

+1. Definitely doesn't take an hour. I had dark blue AE's on my e90 and got a ticket. Just switched out to bright white's last week. Took less than half an hour and I was taking off the wheels for better access.

I like blueish AE too haha. Damnn, that sucks monkey balls. CHP around here sometimes are dumb, sometimes they're cool. I once got a tint ticket (AT NIGHT!!!) from a CHP in Sonoma, walked around my car to see if he could find anything else to nail me for and wrote down no front license plate also. After negotiating with him nicely, he told me to get it signed off in less than 4 weeks and I wouldn't have to worry about paying anything so I just had one of the cops in AC sign it off right away and that was that haha

This... This cop actually did the same exact thing. Except my windows were down and he made me put them up. Then he wrote me a ticket for my windows. After which he walked around the car and got me for no front plates.

Same here! Made me roll up the front windows even though it was dark out and hot during the summer. haha Damn, cops have nothing better to do sometimes than actually stopping people who deserve it. smh
