Back from the Bahn, my thoughts with on the 325D

Just got back from me hols round Germany,my thoughts on unleasing the beast to her max over the E92 320D(without causing a 4-pot,6-pot debate) I took there last year the 100 to 130mph seemed slightly quicker.
Ohh but the noise was 100% better, nice to pass the police sat on the Bahn doing 130+ prefectly legal.
Did 152mph(satnav indicated) on the A20 Bad Dobaren to Rostock, nice to follow a golf R32 at a safe distance obviously wasn't going to catch him but fun anyway as we went past 140.
Total lack of anything above a 320D seen one 335D all week nice to let him past and then follow him. the distance between us got wider and wider. so all in all a enjoyable week flogging her to the limit all safe and legal.

Best Bahns A20 and anything around the former east Germany and around Kaiserlauten upto Trier in the west A8/A1 I think everywhere else was just to crowded.
So all in all nice to do it in the 318d of the 6-pot world

. Just thought of a new name for this forum 6-pot world(but thats another thread I believe).

Was after a 325 myself but these are like hens teeth in northern Ireland to get so had to end up with a 4pot instead. Prob best I don't get a drive in a 6pot cause I'll only want to change my 1 & the wife will kill me

Well I hope you had a great time on holiday.

I took a one hour taxi journey out of Leipzig airport on Sunday.
Never been on an Autobahn before. Taxi travelling at 140kph - pretty fast for a taxi...
Cars coming past us quite a bit quicker.
Then two motorcycles came past as if we were standing still.
The noise made me jump.

But if ever anyone changed lanes unexpectedly, they'd be dead

Wish I could have been there in the beemer.....
Never seen anyone that fast on the M6 Toll road

Well for the size of it, and how much travels down there, they should increase the speed limit IMO
