Wheels for E92 328xi

I'm not really impressed with the stock wheels so I've been thinking of replacing them. However, I'm new to this and am confused.

My requirements are the following:

Run flats
All season (I know a summer and winter set is better)
18"+
For All Wheel Drive

My understanding is that you can't get 18s with all season tires. Is that correct? I'm leaning towards styles 195 or 189. Are these ok for an AWD?

Would like to hear your suggestions. Thanks.

any rim is good for the E92 XI, as long as it fits.... 195's will be fine on your car.... not sure what the 189's are though???? and yes there are 18 all-season tires... go to www.tirerack.com and search for them....

I went with the OEM summer 18" with style 197 rims and bought a winter 17" set with replica M3 alloys (US$1500 or so). I change them over myself. This combination of tires really is worth the minimal hassle of swapping over twice a year and the reduced wear compensates for the extra initial cost. Having an Xi transmission does not make up for all-season vs winter grip. You didn't accept a compromise on the car, so why compromise tire performance? It also gives you a seasonal variety in rims

+1 for the 189's. Check them out on my 328xi with H&R Sport springs. I did keep my 17in all-seasons which I plan to use in the winter.

Leave your OEM wheels fro winter and buy 19 for summer - simple and nice

I don't think there are 18" runflat all-seasons in the sizes that is recommended by BMW, that is at least the case when I was shopping for tires for my car.

I do not know of an 18" all-season runflat tire. They only seem to come in summer tire flavours in 18".

So if you want to stay with 18" tires take your pick. Do you want an all-season tire? Or do you want a runflat tire?

Well, this is at least true couple months back when I was looking for all-season run-flats with the correct tire sizes for my 189s, but none was available.

I might just stick with 17s for now. A new set of rims might do the trick.

To me, all-season run-flats are more important than the size. I only liked the look of the larger wheels.

But if I find 18s with my specs, I will post here.
