Good car insurer for modified cars?

Hi everyone,
After declaring some of the mods to my car, and with some still to go in the coming weeks, I'm starting to feel like i'm making myself uninsurable. I'm getting average quotes of about 2k annually, most insurers on the comparison sites aren't even returning quotes.. anyone know any good insurance specialists for modded cars?
thanks for any help!

Adrian Flux has been fantastic for me over the past few years, that's on a slightly modified e36 m3 but their quotes were still half the price of anywhere else with better cover!!

Are all specialist modified insurers. Other people have had luck with LV. If you're a high risk though, quotes are going to be painful wherever you get them from.

thanks & thanks. Trying Adrian Flux now & will check with the other 3 tomorrow. I've been with AF before on a classic and remember them being very good.
I'm in my 20's so i'm probably going to get put in the boy racer modder bracket rather than in with the enthusiasts.. oh well.

Greenlight were way cheapest for me and they do a pay-as-you-go track day bolt on for 50 quid a day, brilliant.

BUT they wouldn't cover any business use.

Their theory is that modded cars are for weekend / private use, not going to work in!

BTW - try declaring all your mods, present and future, in one go at the start of the year, i'm covered for mods I havent done yet like new wheels, DPs and brake kit as it was only a couple of hundred quid for the lot with esure, but i know if you add them one at a time its like 75quid a go minimum.
