Which service required help

Ive just been checking the service info on my car via the idrive, I've got the following info:

Engine oil 10/2012
Stat vehicle inspection 04/2013 *
Rear pads 11000 miles
Front pads 11000
Brake fluid 04/2014
Micro filter 04/2014
Vehicle check 12/2014 *

Am I right in thinking that I only need an oil service in October??

*what is the difference in these 2 services please

Hi the Stat vehicle inspection, is (I think) the statutory inspection - I.e. your legally required MoT, hence just time based.

The later inspection is a BMW one, not sure they do much useful as its pretty cheap (check tyres, etc) usual stuff they do for free anyway to try and sell tyres I had one done in early 2011, no parts or consumables, nothing to report.

Excellent, thanks for that, thought it was 2 big bills, but can live with an MOT and a inspection.

Yes next is just an oil service so not too expensive, as others said Stat Inspection is your MOT. The other vehicle check is nothing worthwhile if you look after your car yourself, it can be reset yourself easily.

Should be - you might need a micro filter, but changing that takes 5 mins and they are under £20 mail order. I wouldn't pay dealer prices for one.

Whats the price of a main dealer oil service?? I had planned on using a local Indy but as this is the 1st service since I've owned it, I might put it into a main dealer.
