I posted similar last week.

After all the internet sensation of BMWs getting stolen, my insurance dropped by 23% too.

Esure have now quoted me £382 for my 335i.

That is slightly less than last week and still through confused. I will try their direct site later to see how much more comes off.

Nice, to be fair I was 3 months into my policy when I bought the BMW so I just went with little admin fee and carried on. I shall be shopping for new policy in the next couple of months now.

Cheers.

I was 6 months into mine and had my renewal through a couple of weeks ago - £1725 ha! Found Aplan to be the best at £700 all mods declared. I could have almost halved it I reckon if I wasn't honest and declared 15k business miles per year.

Cheers for the posts, my insurance is due in Sept!
The missus just got 3 points as well so with her on it's quoting £705, or £580 without her on .... OR £480 if I don't declare her 3 points.

As she doesn't drive my car anyway, she was only named just in case, and to reduce the insurance price, I guess it'll be option 2!

Out of interest how much does a remap add onto the premuim?

Aplan didn't give the exact figure but they said that the remap was the highest weighting factor for my mods. Adding wheels, suspension, spoiler and splitters did not increase the premium as it is weighted for the remap but the other mods do have to be declared as I'm sure you know.

I'm with Admiral. 25 yrs. 4 yrs NCB. Insurance is about £800 (£500 excess) and that was renewed about 2 weeks ago. I just checked today and its about £650!!!!! I've got the quote / ref number.. is it possible to get them to honour this even though I've just renewed my policy? Surely they would given it's the same damn company lol.

These deals sound fantastic! For 23 with 1 year ncb, 320D was just under a grand!

Obviously not a lot of ncb there, but that's with no mods, adding lowering springs and a remap isn't going to help later on
